I do not promise there is no human error - but its copied from a program I wrote that is working properly - where I wanted to capture a snapshot of the functions... rather than the results... of generating the universe of primitive pythagorean triples (the first post on this blog).
If you notice the date, its four months after my car accident.
The program mentioned above only generates the primitive pythagorean triples; however, with this conversion to a linear or quadratic form - I believe there is no reason this does not move firmly beyond the realm of generating just primitive right triangles - it may in fact account for the Universe of Every Possible Right angle ... I'm just not even sure what exactly it is, not being a proper mathemetician.
There are uses I could apply in programming, where I do not care what the mathematical implications are; only the patterns I can pull out of it and use to my own ends.
Although - the theoretical landing point of a conceptual Universe of all Right triangles - each in a specific quadratic form ... is that every change in 'x' over change in 'y' ... is an analysis of moving exactly left/right and exactly up/down - these are right triangles.
This is calculus as well. I'm sure, I'm supposed to be able to explain it to everyone myself, and perhaps I can pretend I just have.
... because ... if you want to calculate the area under a curve - you must follow the changes in the curve itself... this inevitably requires changes in x over y values (right triangles)... it is derivatives and integration of these calculations of right angles that produces the areas found by calculus.
There - less pretending that I know.
