#Tolerance - I #Hate you.

You can Hate someone all you like - there is nothing wrong with it - so long as you are Tolerant.  It is not some horrible thing, it may be disappointing we do not all like or love each other - but it is no requirement.

The United States of America does not require anything more than peaceful tolerance; you can hate everyone you like... and everyone can hate you.

Implications

There is a sinister implication that is not people all hating one another, and that is that America is built around freedoms that include personal beliefs, and a right to speak about them.  If you hate what you hear, that is one thing; but, if you are trying to oppress someone... to make them unable to have the rights America affords them... then, at some level, the implications are that you do not like or respect America itself.

This tolerance, and allowing people to speak, is an indication that you support American rights and values - if you fight against them - you fight against the dream that is America...  Dare I say it, you may in fact Hate what America Stands For?

Let us hope that ignorance, hate and fear do not destroy the very thing that the founding fathers built; and it seems like there is a movement to do just that.
